KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The FIFA World Cup returns to the United States next summer for the first time since 1994.
On Friday, the United States got its draw for its opponents in Group D. The three opponents making up Group D along with the U.S. are Australia, Paraguay and the winner of UEFA Playoff C.
That playoff winner will be one of the four of Turkey, Romania, Slovakia and Kosovo.

The lowest-ranked team in Pot 2 of the Final Draw, Australia is -- by world ranking -- the most favorable opponent for the Americans. FIFA’s world rankings have Australia as No. 26.
