Four more MLAs, including Alberta’s Health Minister, are now facing the prospect of being removed from office as the Chief Electoral Officer approves a fresh batch of recall petitions following a wave of controversies involving labour and healthcare.

Gordon McClure signed off on petitions for Calgary-Beddington MLA Amanda Chapman, Calgary-East MLA Peter Singh, Calgary-Peigan MLA Tanya Fir and Red Deer-North MLA and Health Minister Adriana LaGrange, marking the initial step that could lead to their ouster.
