A Florida federal judge recently authorized the Justice Department to unseal files in the sex trafficking case against Jeffrey Epstein, which could potentially expose the late financier's connections to numerous rich and powerful individuals, including former President Donald Trump. Judge Rodney Smith's decision follows a recommendation from the Republican-majority Congress, urging the release of all unclassified investigation files concerning Epstein and his associate, Ghislaine Maxwell.
