PHOENIX — A suspect is under arrest in connection with two separate homicides in the Valley, according to authorities.

The Phoenix Police Department said detectives have identified 21-year-old Adalberto Cordova Torres as the suspect in homicides that happened on Nov. 24 and Nov. 29. He was identified in connection with a Nov. 11 shooting where gunshots were fired into a house.

Police said on Nov. 24, Marcus Adams, 45, was shot and killed near 19th Avenue and Greenway Road. Records show the victim was shot at least nine times.

Then on Nov. 29, another deadly shooting occurred near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road. Police said 29-year-old Andreas Samual Olguin was pronounced dead at the scene. Records show the victim was shot at least 11 times.
