UPDATE: Bradley Central addresses separate bedbug incidents; no infestation indicated

UPDATE: Bradley County Schools is updating families after two isolated bedbug incidents were reported at Bradley Central High School this week.

Earlier in the week, a bedbug was discovered on a chair inside one classroom. District officials say certified pest control professionals immediately treated the area and disposed of any affected items per protocol.

In a separate incident on Friday, a single bedbug was found on a student’s clothing. School leaders say staff followed district procedures, which include removing and disposing of the insect, notifying the student’s parent or guardian, and consulting Coordinated School Health and district supervisors to confirm next steps.
