The winners of the International Landscape Photographer of the Year competition have been announced.

There were more than 3,600 entries from around the world to the annual contest , which saw J. Fritz Rumpf of the United States named as Photographer of the Year.

With rules stating no AI-generated images are allowed , entries ranged from snowy landscapes to lightning-filled desert skies.

The organizers said: "The International Landscape Photographer of the Year Awards presents a selection of the world's best contemporary landscape photographs and our thanks go to our esteemed and expert judging panel for giving us their time, their consideration and their opinions."
