BILLINGS, Mont. – The City of Billings is reaching out to residents for input on shaping the community's future as part of a new long-range planning effort. The initiative, called "Billings 2045," is aimed at preparing for the city's growth over the next two decades.

Anna Vickers, Billings and Yellowstone County Planning Division Manager, explained the significance of the initiative. "It took our growth policy and gave it a bit more teeth in the sense that we now have to have a future land use plan and map, and the map shows where we want to see growth appropriately throughout the city," said Vickers.
