One animal sanctuary in England always wakes up roaring. The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent is home to 40 felines across 36 acres, rescued from all over the world. "Set in Smarden at the heart of the Kent countryside, The Big Cat Sanctuary is a globally recognized center dedicated to the conservation and rescue of wild cats. The initiatives undertaken by the team at The Sanctuary are vital in saving some of the planet’s most endangered and iconic species from extinction," its website reads. Cameron Whitnall, the managing director of the sanctuary, told ABC News' Danny New that the rescue has five major pillars of helping the animals they save.
