MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Two brothers were arrested and charged with robbing and shooting a man at an apartment.

Police were called to the scene on November 5 at The Residence at Village Green Apartments.

A man told officers he was shot by his friends, whom he said live in West Memphis.

He said the brothers came over his apartment to smoke with him when they suddenly turned their guns on him and demanded his money.

The victim attempted to wrestle a gun away when he was shot.

The two men then grabbed money and marijuana from his apartment and left the scene.

The brothers have since been identified as 21-year-old Lamarian Jacobs and 18-year-old Dewayne Jacobs.

They are charged with attempted first-degree murder, aggravated robbery and employment of a firearm during a dangerous felony.
