MORGANTOWN — While training under the special operations medic course before being deployed to his first SEAL Team, Brentyn Jones watched something terrible happen.
His commanding officer fell more than 50 feet from a helicopter during a fast rope insertion directly onto concrete. Despite the best medical care, the officer died from his injuries.
