The City of Peoria is considering allocating $300,000 in COVID-19 relief funds to fix a fire alarm system at the New Hope Apartments, which offers 84 units of permanent supportive housing, after a fire earlier this week damaged 40% of the units and a non-functioning fire alarm system.
