Srinagar, Dec 05: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army’s White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P. K. Mishra, on Friday conducted a comprehensive review of the operational readiness of air defence brigades deployed in forward areas of the Jammu region, amid continued focus on bolstering counter-aerial threat capabilities along the sensitive border belt.
Lt Gen Mishra visited key air defence formations where he was given an extensive briefing on the current state of preparedness, ongoing training initiatives, deployment matrices, and capability-enhancement measures undertaken in recent months.
Senior commanders detailed the operational posture designed to counter emerging aerial threats, including hostile drones, UAVs, and potential cross-border air intrusions.
