LAKE STEVENS—Around 5 p.m., Thursday, December 4, the Violent Offender Task Force (VOTF) located and arrested Mark Guba, 30 of Lake Stevens, for first-degree armed robbery—a Class A felony.
Patrol deputies responded to a robbery at a convenience store gas station in the 16400 block of 84th Street NE in Lake Stevens that occurred at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday. Deputies reviewed surveillance footage and learned that the suspect arrived on a motorcycle carrying a backpack, removed an AK-47 rifle from the backpack, entered the store, pointed the weapon at the clerk, and demanded money. The clerk complied with the demands and the suspect fled.
Through the joint efforts of north county patrol deputies and Robbery Burglary Unit (RBU) detectives, the suspect was identified as a 30-year-old Lake Stevens
