Colorado State University’s annual sale of student-grown poinsettias will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6 at the CSU Horticulture Center, 1707 Centre Ave.
This year’s sale will feature 1,200 plants grown and cared for by upper-level students in the university’s floriculture practicum class. There will be 93 cultivars in shades of pink, red and white, including trial plants, available for purchase, according to a Dec. 2 news release.
Prices are $15 for 6-inch pots and $20 for 8-inch pots. Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. Proceeds from the sale support student learning and research initiatives at the CSU Horticulture Center.
During the sale, attendees will be able to vote for their favorite poinsettias.
Early arrival is recommended because plants usually sell quick
