Big crowds turnout for Downtown Christmas parade
The Morristown Christmas Parade may have kicked off a little early this year, but every float from the first to the fire truck hosting Santa made their way through Main Street downtown and delighted the crowd.
From humble pickup trucks dressed out in Christmas lights to national sensations like the Oscar Meyer Wienermobile to the first place float crafted by Southerland Family Farm, there was something for everybody rolling through town on Thursday night.
“We got news that the rain could potentially come in sooner than we thought, so we bumped (the start time) up for a 6:30 step-off,” Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce Director of Downtown Development Natasha Morrison explained.
