The Bills aren’t backing down.

After refusing to show up and later threatening retirement , Darius Slay was placed on the reserve/did not report list by Buffalo, who claimed the six-time Pro Bowl cornerback off waivers earlier this week, according to NFL Network .

With the move, the franchise will retain his rights, making Slay ineligible to join another team.

Slay, who was released by the Steelers earlier this week , needed some time to make a decision on his NFL future, according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus.
