Denver bus and train users can expect some service disruptions on Regional Transportation District routes on Saturday afternoon and evening because of the 9News Parade of Lights , agency officials said this week.
The annual parade starts at 6 p.m. but will affect RTD service starting at 3 p.m. The Parade of Lights route winds through downtown from 14th Avenue and Bannock Street along Tremont Place, 17th Street, Arapahoe Street and 15th Street to Glenarm Place.
“RTD services will be modified or suspended to accommodate the parade,” agency officials said in a news release. “Customers using routes affected by the events should allow extra time for delays and detours, which may affect scheduled connecting bus and rail trips.”
