The minimum temperature in Delhi on Friday remained at 5.6°C, the same as Thursday’s minimum.

This is the lowest recorded so far this season. However, there is no alert for a cold wave in the Capital, as the minimum temperatures are expected to rise by about 3-4°C over the next three days.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the maximum temperature, recorded at 23.5°C on Friday, was around two notches below the season’s normal. The maximum is expected to be near normal in the coming days, the weather department said, also forecasting partly cloudy skies for the weekend and mainly clear skies thereafter.
