COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Big Ten Championship game is just one day away, and for one central Ohio family, Saturday’s matchup between Ohio State and Indiana means their home will be split down the middle.
Bobby Covitz, an Ohio State graduate, and his wife, Stephanie, who graduated from Indiana University, say they’re used to navigating their dual allegiances — except on game day.
“Being a Buckeye means being tapped into this worldwide community,” Bobby said.
But tomorrow, Stephanie says the rules change.
“The guys are getting kicked out. They are full Buckeyes — get out of here,” she said.
The couple proudly calls theirs a house divided — Stephanie cheering for the Hoosiers and Bobby representing the Buckeyes.
