REGINA — It was a historic milestone achievement for Innovation Saskatchewan.

The organization marked 25 years for the Innovation Saskatchewan R + T Park Regina, located just south of the University of Regina campus.

The occasion was celebrated with an event marking the anniversary, which included a panel discussion with leaders from the University of Regina, PTRC Sustainable Energy and Greenwave Innovations.

Innovation Saskatchewan has two such R + T parks, the other being in Saskatoon. The Regina location was the second one in the province, having been established in 2000 as the Regina Research Park.

It was renamed Innovation Place in 2007 and Innovation Saskatchewan R + T Park Regina in 2025.
