LANSING, Mich. (WILX) -Holiday shoppers are likely to see the Salvation Army red kettles back out in front of stores and hear the familiar bell ringers.
The nationwide effort feeds tens of thousands of families each year.
One of those locations is at the Walmart in Lansing. A volunteer told News 10 it’s his first year and he enjoys raising Christmas spirit.
“Its been going great. I met a lot of good people, a lot of generous people and a lot of happy people, it this time of the year ya know,” said Bell Ringer Patrick Clark.
The Salvation Army is always looking for volunteers to ring bells and help bring in donations for families in need this holiday season.
