Three women were sexually assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in separate incidents by a man they met on an online dating app, Chicago police said in a community alert Friday.
The women separately arranged to meet with the man on the dating app, police said, and were led into an apartment upon arriving at the agreed upon locations — all in Chicago's Woodlawn neighborhood.
Once inside the apartment, the man displayed a handgun, sexually assaulted the victims and took their property, police said. He also used their cellphones to transfer money from the victim's bank accounts.
Police said the incidents occurred at the following times and places:
Around 3 p.m. on Oct. 3 on the 6400 block of South Ingleside Avenue
Around 12:07 a.m. on Oct. 17 on the 6400 block of South Ingleside Avenue
