Few pieces of modern shonen have shaken up the genre like Chainsaw Man . Tatsuki Fujimoto's seminal manga has never been afraid to question shonen conventions, and that's been especially true of the manga's explosive second part.

That latest target in Chainsaw Man's crosshairs is the classic shonen hero as embodied by Dragon Ball's Goku. As unexpected as it might be, the series has turned its ultimate villain, the War Devil Yoru, into its version of Akira Toriyama's beloved hero.
