Moon’s Jackson and Brody Bauman have received a warm welcome from their new teammates and coaches after transferring from Knoch following last season.
“It was a very easy transition,” Jackson said. “I couldn’t be happier with how the coaches and the players responded because you never knew how they would with new people coming in.”
The Bauman brothers used to play for the Knights, and on Friday, the two helped Moon say “night, night” to Penn Hills in an early-season battle between WPIAL Class 5A teams.
Jackson Bauman scored a game-high 16 points and Brody Bauman knocked down the go-ahead 3-pointer with just under three minutes left to propel Moon to a 43-38 win against No. 3-ranked Penn Hills in the Jack Twyman Classic at Oakland Catholic.
