KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A recreational vehicle caught fire in the neighborhood of Northshore Hills around 6:30 p.m. Thursday.

Rural Metro said that after the RV caught fire, some small explosions occurred from tires or "combustible products" inside the RV. It took firefighters around two hours to extinguish the fire, and the RV is a total loss.

Rural Metro said there were no reported injuries.

Video caught on a Ring doorbell showed the RV in flames, with Rural Metro crews arriving on the scene. A loud boom could also be heard on the video, with the flames getting brighter immediately after.
