Couple attends own wedding reception online after flight gets cancelled

Bengaluru, December 6, 2025: A newly wed couple had to attend their own wedding reception online after their Indigo flight was cancelled.

Incident occurred at Karnataka's Hubballi when a newlywed couple was prevented them from travelling to the city as their Indigo flight got cancelled.

Couple has been identified as Medha Kshirsagar of Hubballi and Sangram Das of Odisha's Bhubaneswar. Both are software engineers and work in Bengaluru. Their wedding was scheduled to be held at Gujarat Bhavan, Hubballi.

They had got married in Bhubaneswar on November 23 and reception was arranged at the bride's hometown on Wednesday.
