Temecula schools trustee Joseph Komrosky, who was ousted in 2024 by voters then returned in an election months later , is now back in the board president’s seat.

Komrosky’s colleagues chose him to lead the Temecula school board on a 3-2 vote during a Thursday, Dec. 4, meeting.

Komrosky and trustees Melinda Anderson and Jen Wiersma voted for Komrosky. Steve Schwartz and Emil Barham voted no.

In an Instagram video posted Friday, Dec. 5, Komrosky thanked Anderson and Wiersma for their faith in him as he begins his third stint as president.

“My pledge to you is during these meetings, I’m going to run them better than I did last time,” said Komrosky, who became president after he joined the board in late 2022.
