U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents on Thursday appear to have run over a man’s foot during an arrest in Vancouver, according to the man’s brother, witness videos and local police.

Vancouver police are investigating the incident based on the videos, they said late Friday.

“Based on the information regarding a vehicle that is alleged to have struck a person within the city limits of Vancouver, per our policy, the Vancouver Police Department will be conducting a traffic investigation to determine the facts,” a news release from the department said.

Two videos by bystanders show portions of what happened to the man, 27-year-old Jose Guadalupe Paniagua Calderon, whose brother spoke with The Oregonian/OregonLive to shed additional details on the incident.
