It seems that over a month after Wesley Royston and Michael Dec were swapped for each other, the wounds are still raw.
Dec, now playing for the Erie Otters, scored a remarkable goal in the second period as the Owen Sound Attack topped their division rivals 6-2 inside the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre Friday night.
Dec batted the puck to himself in the air twice before swatting it into the net by former teammate Carter George — a juggling spectacle.
After scoring, the winger from Mississauga stared down Attack fans in the front row behind the net, for what seemed like an awkwardly long time, as his teammates trailed to congratulate him. As he stared, Dec shouted, “Do you remember me?”
