In every society, parents stand as the silent architects of their children’s futures. Their sacrifices are often invisible, their struggles unspoken, and their devotion unconditional. Yet, as time passes and roles shift, many of these very pillars find themselves neglected within the homes they once built with love and hard work.
Recently, I witnessed a heart-breaking scene—an aged mother, frail and worn by years of sacrifice, being forced out of her own home by the very son for whom she had surrendered her youth, dreams, and comfort. It shook me deeply. It compels us to ask: Is this a failure of upbringing, a weakening of values, or have we as a society forgotten the meaning of gratitude and humanity?
