Ranveer Singh’s latest release Dhurandhar has opened to a powerful start at the box office, outperforming expectations and marking the highest Day 1 collection of his career.

The film earned over ₹27 crore on its opening day, comfortably exceeding advance estimates of ₹15–18 crore. With this, it has also surpassed Saiyaara, which collected ₹21.50 crore on Day 1.

Dhurandhar has now overtaken Ranveer’s previous top openers — Padmaavat (₹24 crore) and Simmba (₹20.72 crore).

Released on Friday, December 5, the film recorded an all-India occupancy of 33.81%, playing across more than 4,000 shows. Evening shows saw a strong jump, touching over 55% occupancy.
