GENEVA — Flashing lights, fiery batons, and band members dressed in Christmas lights brightened downtown Friday evening for the city’s annual Christmas parade.

Geneva Recreation Director Myke Dowd said there were an estimated 35 units in the parade, including fire trucks, the Geneva High School band, senior citizens, floats and of course, Santa Claus.
