The Wisconsin men’s hockey team is developing a relentlessness to it that is paying off in the win column.
For the third time in three weeks the Badgers rallied from two-goals down to win on the road. In their latest comeback, a 7-4 win over Notre Dame Dec. 5 at Compton Family Ice Arena in South Bend, Ind., they came back from deficits of 2-0 and 3-2 before scoring their fourth straight win.
The victory pushed the Badgers , who are ranked No. 2 in the USCHO poll, to 11-2-2 overall and 7-2 in the Big Ten. They, however, remain in second place in the Big Ten (19 points). They're one point behind No. 1 Michigan, which beat Michigan State, 3-0, Friday.
Notre Dame (4-10-1, 0-6 – 1 point) is last in the league.
