TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - An anti-ICE protest took place downtown Friday night, following multiple ICE raids across the city earlier in the afternoon.
Protesters gathered in front of the Federal building, marching around town before concluding their demonstration back at the starting point.
This comes after a search warrant was executed at a Taco Giro near Grande Avenue and St. Mary's Road.
ICE stated that special agents and officers from ICE Homeland Security Investigations and the IRS, joined by federal partners, executed 16 search warrants in southern Arizona related to immigration and tax violations.
