SRINAGAR : The Kashmir Valley experienced an intense cold wave overnight, with minimum temperatures dropping sharply across the region, according to official meteorological data issued on Saturday. Follow Us On G -N e w s | Whatsapp

Shopian recorded the lowest temperature at –6.4°C, marking the coldest night of the season so far. Pulwama and Pampore followed with –5.2°C, while Baramulla registered –5.1°C and Anantnag –4.9°C.

Srinagar Airport reported a minimum of –4.8°C, with Pahalgam at –4.4°C and Qazigund at –4.2°C. Srinagar city and Budgam both settled at –4.1°C.

Elsewhere, Awantipora recorded –3.8°C, Kupwara –3.5°C, and Bandipora –3.4°C. Ganderbal registered –3.1°C, followed by Sonamarg at –3.0°C and Gulmarg at –2.6°C.
