A previously unreleased Scott Weiland track as been shared 10 years after his death

According to a post from his official Facebook page, the track "was written in 2000 after the birth of his son"

Weiland died in December 2015 at the age of 48

A never-before-heard Scott Weiland track has been shared.

To mark the 10-year anniversary of his death , a new, previously unreleased song called "If I Could Fly" has been released.

The track, which was initially released for this year's Record Store Day’s Black Friday is now available on streaming and will be on vinyl Dec. 19.

According to a post shared on Weiland's official Facebook page on Tuesday, Dec. 4, the song is “the first unheard song from Scott’s archive since he left us."
