Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday inaugurated a state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Umrangso, Dima Hasao, developed by the Assam Cricket Association (ACA). The facility features a 15,000-seat earthen gallery and the newly constructed Senga Tularam Pavilion.

The stadium, set against a natural backdrop, was built at a cost of Rs 11 crore. It houses five centre wickets, five practice pitches, eight staff quarters and accommodation for 32 players. The foundation stone was laid on 25 September 2021.
