NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi presented a set of specially curated gifts to visiting Russian President Vladimir Putin during his two-day trip to India. The gifts showcased India's culture, craftsmanship, and heritage. They included a Russian edition of the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, GI-tagged fine Assam tea, Kashmiri saffron, and an ornate silver tea set. Putin was in India for a special edition of the 23rd India–Russia Annual Summit, a tradition that has continued since 2000.
