Ben Blizniak Jr scored a hat trick, leading South Brunswick-North Brunswick-Monroe to a 9-3 victory over West Windsor-Plainsboro at ProSkate Arena in Monmouth Junction.
South Brunswick led 4-1 at the first intermission and never looked back.
Travis Neves added two goals for South Brunswick, while Issaq Shakir-Trush finished with a goal and three assists and Matt DePalma contributed a goal and two assists. Dakota Benenati finished with 13 saves in net.
South Brunswick (1-0) outshot West Windsor-Plainsboro South 57-16.
Louis Barrandon led West Windsor-Plainsboro South (0-1) with two goals.
