The West Kelowna Warriors annual Teddy Bear Toss is growing in both size and impact this year with the addition of a new community partner. Kelowna’s Gospel Mission will join the Salvation Army Okanagan Central in collecting not only new teddy bears, but also warm winter essentials for neighbours in need.

The West Kelowna Warriors “Sox, Toques, and Teddy Bear Toss,” supporting the Salvation Army and Kelowna’s Gospel Mission, will take place tonight (Dec. 6) at Royal LePage Place, where they will face off against the Trail Smoke Eaters beginning at 7 p.m.

Fans attending the event are encouraged to bring new socks, toques, mittens, and/or teddy bears, sealed in plastic bags, to throw onto the ice after the Warriors score their first goal. These much-needed items will help support vulnerabl
