Kenneth Andrade, CIO of Old Bridge Mutual Fund, which manages ₹1,953 crore as of September 30, 2025, expects the current phase of time correction in Indian equities to continue in early 2026 before growth improves in the second half of the year.
He said markets have been in “a reasonable consolidation phase,” adding, “You’ll have to have a little bit of patience into 2026.” The breadth of the market may stay weak in the first quarter, but Andrade expects corporate India’s growth to recover. “We should be much better in the second half of 2026 and 2027,” he said.
