It is learned that a fresh notice has been issued to initiate externment proceedings once again against Soujanya justice activist Mahesh Shetty Timarodi.

Earlier, the Puttur Assistant Commissioner had ordered the externment of Mahesh Shetty Timarodi to Manvi taluk. Challenging this order, Timarodi had approached the High Court. After hearing the matter, the court had quashed the externment order and directed that if he were to be externed again, a fresh inquiry must be conducted before taking any action.

Now, it is reported that the Puttur Assistant Commissioner has once again issued a notice regarding his externment.
