Woman Killed By Train In Western Mass

A woman was struck and killed by a train Wednesday morning, June 5, in Berkshire County, authorities said. 

Lynn Stanley, 41, of North Adams was hit in the area of American Legion Drive in North Adams, the Berkshire County District Attorney said. 

Multiple people have posted memorials to the mother on Facebook. 

Investigators have not disclosed the circumstances around the crash. 

Police are investigating the incident and more information will be made available when that is complete, authorities said.
