MMA Junkie has live coverage of UFC 323 with round-by-round analysis of every fight.
Will Merab Dvalishvili make history, or will Petr Yan get his revenge at UFC 323? Their bantamweight championship bout scheduled for five rounds is taking place Saturday, December 6 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Dvalishvili (21-4 MMA, 14-2 UFC) has been on a roll since September 2018, compiling 14 wins in a row during that time span, which stands as the fourth-longest winning streak in UFC history behind Anderson Silva (16), Islam Makhachev (16) and Kamaru Usman (15). A win Saturday would make Dvalishvili the first fighter in UFC history to successfully defend their championship four times in a calendar year. Already in 2025 he has defeated Umar Nurmagomedov, Sean O'Malley and Cory Sandhagen to retain the 135-pound title.
Yan (19-5 MMA, 11-4 UFC), a former bantamweight champ, will enter UFC 323 on a three-fight winning streak after beating Song Yadong, Deiveson Figueiredo and Marcus McGhee. A win Saturday would avenge a March 2023 unanimous decision loss to Dvalishvili, which capped off a three-fight skid and marks the last time Yan tasted defeat.
