MONONGALIA COUNTY, W.Va. –Monongalia County Sheriff’s deputies were involved in an officer-involved shooting Saturday.

Deputies responded to a domestic disturbance with a firearm just after midnight on Ed Dunn Road.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, a suspect inside the residence opened fire when police arrived.

No further information about the incident has been released, but two suspects have been transported to Ruby Memorial Hospital with unspecified injuries.

The investigation is ongoing.
