SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) - So far, December has been dry. We’re close to 1.50” below normal rainfall with Severe Drought conditions on the Suncoast. For the year, we’re getting close to 3” below normal rainfall.
We’re tracking a cold front coming to the Suncoast late Sunday into Monday. A few thunderstorms are possible ahead of the front, but the best chance is Sunday night into Monday morning. The front and any thunderstorms will drop south during the day on Monday, moving away from the Suncoast. Winds pick up out of the north Monday, bringing in cooler air and lower humidity for next week.
