BENTON, La. — Keep Bossier Beautiful says 2025 was one of its most impactful years yet, powered by hundreds of volunteers, new grant funding, and an aggressive push to restore the parish’s tree canopy.

Executive Director Lynn Bryan told Bossier Parish police jurors the community turnout was extraordinary

“We had about 600 volunteers that helped us clean up 14,000 pounds of debris,” she said, highlighting Operation Clean Sweep as a major success.

The cleanup uncovered unexpected issues as well — including “17 shopping carts… in the ditch beside Hobby Lobby,” Bryan said.
