A Merseyside brewery has launched its first nitro stout which is now available in bars across the city. Bootle -based brewery, Colbier, launched what they claim is "Liverpool's first smooth Nitro Stout" in November.

Colbier was established by Mike Corbett and Vik Williams in 2024, with sales manager Jason Menzies joining the team in 2025. The brewery has gone from strength-to-strength after being named the UK's "Best new independent brewery" at the SIBA Business Awards 2025 .

Now, they have added their nitro stout 'Legato' to their impressive collection of beers .

Jason told the ECHO that the team "decided to give it a crack" following the popularity of other stout brands such as Guinness, Beamish and Murphy's.
