WESTLAKE, Ohio –
Theft from auto: Crocker Park
A caller at midnight on Nov. 22 reported a theft from a car parked in a public garage at Crocker Park.
The vehicle had been parked between 4 p.m. and the time of the call. When the man returned to his vehicle, he noticed that it had been rummaged through. A Taurus 9mm handgun was missing.
The gun was entered into police databases as stolen. Officers noted no signs of forced entry to the Chevrolet.
Failure to control: Schwartz Road
Officers responded at 8:10 p.m. on Nov. 24 to a report of a vehicle that struck a concrete and brick mailbox on Schwartz Road.
A black Mercedes had heavy front-end damage from crashing into the structure. No injuries were reported.
The driver said that she had been distracted by the sun’s glare. She was cited
