CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - An unattended candle caused a house fire that resulted in $325,000 in damages early Saturday morning, Charlotte fire investigators said.
The fire happened around 3 a.m. on Sylvania Avenue. Thirty firefigters responded to the scene and controlled the blaze within 45 minutes.
No injuries were reported.
Investigators determined the cause was accidental, stemming from an unattended candle left burning.
